2 Year old Rottweiler/Border Collie mix.
Here is Riley, her is a 2 year old Border Collie/Rottweiler male. He is currently being fostered with a family who is working on his training and rehabilitation before he is ready for adoption. Riley is an amazingly smart boy who's start in life was less than ideal so he came into care with lots of issues with food guarding and no social skills. Thanks to a wonderful group of volunteers who worked with him before he came to BURN, Riley is a very good loving boy who wants nothing more than to please you and do his best to be a good boy. so far he is doing so well! We are going to keep updates from his foster home periodically and will let you all know when he is ready to find his forever home.

Buddy
Male
3 Year old Pitbull/hound mix
Notes from his Foster Family:
Buddy is a perfect gentleman in a home. He loves affection and to play but doesn't demand it. He is not a barker and comes excitedly when called. He currently lives with an American Bulldog and would be most happy in a home with a friendly and balanced dog. Buddy is quickly learning basic obedience such as sit, lay and come. He is also getting much better walking on a loose leash and seems to understand the training, when he pulls we stop walking forward and that is enough to remind him not to pull. Buddy will be great in a home with children, he is very gentle and a great size for any home. Buddy will need to be in a home with owners who are committed to working with Buddy on his socialization and continued obediance training. He is reactive to other dogs on a leash. However, when properly introduced to dogs he can do very well, his love of our dog Daisy is proof of that. Buddy needs an owner who can be a strong leader for him so he feels comfortable following, once you'd earned his love and trust you will have it for life.
